The Parish Council wish all residents a very Happy New Year.
New Local Plan Options. This affects Hopton.
Go to www.great-yarmouth.gov.uk/planning-consultations (copy and paste into your browser) to view the document and potential areas for development in Hopton and surrounding areas. There is a drop in event at the Assembly Room at the Town Hall on 26 January, 4 - 8pm. All comments must be received by GYBC by the 17 February 2023.
This item will be discussed by the Parish Council at the 13 February 2023 meeting. 7.30pm at the Village Hall. All welcome to attend.

Various roadworks along Station Road. The road is due to be closed for gas works from 30 January for three weeks. Access is permitted for homeowners on Station Road and businesses only. The person dealing with enquiries at Norfolk County Council is Vinnie Purdy (Community and Environmental Services Department) Telephone 0344 800 8020.
Police Surgery Monday 23 January 2023, 10am to 12 midday at Hopton Village Hall.
PC Mark Seggars will be available in the hall. Some Parish Cllrs will also be present should you have any queries or wish to discuss matters relating to the village/community.

Minutes are published on this website, on the noticeboards and in the monthly Village News magazine. We look forward to welcoming you to our meetings.
